Who is it for?
New and Acting Headteachers in all phases and Heads of Children’s Centres and other educational settings in their early years of headship.

What is it about?
Entering Headship is both an exciting and daunting time and from all our work with new headteachers and those in the early years of headship, we know what they most value is dialogue, mutual support and the opportunities to be together. So Touchstone will offer a core programme of:

• Opportunities to work together with a skilled facilitator on key leadership themes and issues through a residential conference and follow up days
• Networking, dialogue and an opportunity to share good practice, your own particular successes and challenges
• Practical approaches to leadership such as case-studies and leadership enquiry visits to schools in different Local Authorities
• Practitioner research and enquiry
• Action learning sets and peer coaching/consultancy

Optional enhancements include an international experience and further research/enquiry based projects.
