SELT hosts the TDA Regional Centre. The centre supports the Training and Development Agency for Schools development and improvement agenda in the South East. The main focus of our work is the ongoing reform and modernisation of the School workforce as well as the change for children agenda, as local authorities develop their Children's Services.

The Centre works with the South East Regional Delivery Partnership and a team of regional trainers to deliver National, Regional and Bespoke training events and consultancy to all South East Local Authorities.

The majority of training and consultancy provides support around areas of the Extended Schools agenda, the School Improvement Planning Framework, the National Agreement, Performance Management of teachers, CPD and Targeted Youth Support. The Local Authorities in the South East have a tradition of regional collaboration. This part of the SELT website is a way of enhancing this collaboration. On it we will provide colleagues in LAs with resources and information relevant to their work linked to the TDA's remit. It is also a place for LA colleagues to share ideas, resources and events.
