This programme will begin with a 24-hour residential to explore your current experience of ECM/ES and further develop your approaches to strategic leadership of this agenda with a variety of stimuli, including external speakers and Think pieces drawn from the literature and research. - Be confident in leading ECM based on a deep knowledge and understanding of the 5 Outcomes
- Have an awareness of the link between ECM and ES… the place of schools as ‘learning hubs’ in the community.
- Critique strategic leadership v operational leadership… personal leadership styles and new thinking on leadership.
- Have considered collaboration and strategic partnerships – implications for the single institution and current models of leadership.
- Have looked at preferred futures – schools as learning organisations and building an innovation culture.
The programme will ensure that your needs in your context are met, whatever the phase or size of the school you are in – coaching elements will be built in to the programme.
